The 3^rd Freshwater Ecosystem Network was held on 29 July 2016 in Pretoria.  Picking up on the themes of the two previous FEN’, was the main focus for this year.

The FEN 2015 looked at:

• Chapter 5 of the National Water Resource Strategy 2;
• Progress update on the NBA process;
• Wetland and River mapping and classification;
• Governance/institutional arrangements of the FEN; and
• Aquatic capacity at provincial environmental agencies
