Finding a town

 

  1. Go to the BGIS website.
  2. Click on the “Map Viewers” tab.

  3. The “Open Map>>” button next to each listed entry will open the interactive map viewer of interest in a new window

  4. An overview of the selected map will appear.
  5. Type in the name of the town in the “Search” tool found above the Map Window in the right-hand corner.

  6. The results will be displayed in the Information Panel, beside the Map Window.

  7. When users click on the name of the town in the information panel, the map will zoom to the town of interest. The location of the town is marked with a greed dot.
